Lost Wax Casting, Step 4: Finishing the product

After the process of pouring molten metal into the mold, we will move on to the process of Separating, assembling and finishing the part. Modern machines will support people to process the part after investment casting to get the final finished product.

Cooling: The mold is filled with molten metal. The mold and metal are then cooled and solidified. This is the final casting. Once the investment casting has cooled, we move the product through the finishing steps.

Eliminate redundant details:

Excess shell parts will be removed through hammering, vibration and steel shot blasting processes.

Cut:

The finished parts are then cut out of the channel and spout system.

Finishing:

Various finishing techniques are then used including grinding, sandblasting and coating to achieve the final surface finish required by the client.
